Gates, Operators & Access Control
The gate is the part of the perimeter that moves, so it is the part that fails. We build gates heavy, hang them on the right hardware, and wire operators to UL 325 so they pass inspection and keep working under real traffic.
- UL 325 and ASTM F2200 compliant on every automated gate
- Operator sized to actual gate weight and cycle count
- We service and retrofit gates we did not install
- Emergency gate repair — on site the same day
Services: Chain link, Temporary fence rental, Ornamental steel, Gates & operators, Access control, Emergency repair.
01What it is
The part that moves is the part that fails.
A commercial gate is a structural assembly, not a fence panel on hinges. Cantilever slide gates carry their own weight on an internal truss and roll on two carriages mounted to posts — no ground track to fill with debris, which is why they dominate industrial yards. Swing gates cost less but need clear swing radius and heavy hinge posts. Vertical pivot lifts solve tight sites with no room to slide or swing.
Automation is where most installs go wrong. An operator has to match gate weight, cycle count and duty class, and UL 325 requires two independent means of entrapment protection — typically photo eyes plus a sensing edge. Skipping that turns a gate into a liability claim. We size the operator to the gate and document the safety devices.
On access control we install and integrate keypads, card and fob readers, telephone entry and cellular call boxes, vehicle loops and LPR-ready hardware. If your property already runs a head-end system, we terminate to it. If not, we scope something a property manager can run without a service call for every tenant turnover.

03How the job runs
How a gates & operators job runs.
Five steps, one straight line. Weather, permits and material lead times move the durations — we tell you which apply to yours.
